Privacy Policy
Effective Date: September 30, 2026
1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use the Service.
2. Data Collection
The Service processes the files or content you choose on your device. Related records and exports are handled locally unless you choose to share them.
3. Use of Data
We do not sell your personal information. Files or content you select are used only for the features you request.
Website analytics
Our website uses Google Analytics to help us understand aggregate page usage and improve our content. Google Analytics may use cookies and collect information such as pages visited, approximate location, device and browser details, and interaction data. Website analytics does not access or upload the files you process in our apps. You can limit cookies through your browser settings or use Google's available analytics opt-out tools.
4. Data Security
Local files and exports are retained and cleaned up according to each app’s functionality. FTMask’s behavior is described below.
FTMask: retention, deletion, and withdrawing permission
The following applies to FTMask, including its system share extension.
Images, detection results, and editing history
FTMask processes only images you choose, on your device. Imported image data, detected regions, and undo/redo records serve the current editing session and are not saved as a long-term, restorable editing history. Closing the editor and ending that session releases this in-memory data with the session. FTMask does not modify or delete your source photos or files, and does not store these images or detection results on developer servers.
Temporary export files
FTMask creates processed PNG or JPEG files in the app’s or share extension’s respective temporary directory for previews, saving, or system sharing. Generating a new export attempts to remove the previous temporary export. Closing the editor, releasing the editing session, or returning the result from the share extension to the originating app also attempts to clean up that session’s temporary exports. Dismissing the share sheet alone does not mean the temporary file is deleted immediately. If the app exits unexpectedly or deletion fails, files may remain temporarily. The next launch of FTMask or its share extension attempts to remove leftover FTMask exports from its respective temporary directory.
Source images and copies you save
Temporary-file cleanup does not delete your source images or copies you deliberately save to Photos, Files, or another app. Those copies remain until you delete them at their destination. To remove them, delete the relevant images in Photos or Files and, where needed, empty Recently Deleted. Copies in other apps, cloud synchronization, and backups are managed by the relevant service and must be handled there. Deleting FTMask does not delete images already saved to Photos, Files, or another app.
Revoking Photos permission and stopping processing
Import uses Apple’s system photo picker, which provides only the images you select to FTMask and does not require access to your entire photo library. You can cancel selection, stop providing new images, or close the editor to end the current session. When saving to Photos, FTMask requests permission to add photos. To revoke a permission you have granted, go to Settings → Apps → FTMask → Photos, or Settings → Privacy & Security → Photos → FTMask, and select None; available options depend on the system. FTMask then cannot add images directly to Photos; file selection and system sharing remain available. The system photo picker may still let you select images individually, and each selection provides that image to the app. Revoking permission does not erase data already imported into the current session or previously saved copies. Also close the editor and delete saved images where needed.
Deleting local data and requesting deletion
To remove FTMask’s local settings and data held within the app, use Delete App in system settings. Offload App preserves documents and data and is not a substitute for deletion. The share extension is part of FTMask; deleting the app also removes the extension and its local data. FTMask requires no account and developer servers do not retain your processed images, so no server-side image-deletion request is needed. If you voluntarily supplied personal information by email, contact asptop@gmail.com to request deletion of that information. Identify the information to delete without resending sensitive source images. Manage Apple purchase records and data retained by third-party sharing destinations through those services.
Free FTMask exports retain source EXIF/GPS metadata, if present. Lifetime Pro lets you choose whether to retain or remove it in settings. Covering information in the image does not automatically remove location or other metadata; check your settings and exported result before sharing.
5. Children's Privacy
